Structured cabling

Copper is still the backbone of every white space. We pull, dress, terminate and certify horizontal and backbone runs so they look as good on day one as they test.

Scope

  • Horizontal & backbone copper
  • Patch panels & terminations
  • Cable dressing & management
  • Labeling to your scheme

Media

  • Cat6A shielded & UTP
  • Cat6
  • Pre-terminated trunks
  • Power & data separation

Fiber & backbone

High-density fiber for spine-leaf fabrics and GPU clusters. Trunks, cassettes and patching installed clean, with test results for every strand.

Scope

  • Backbone & riser trunks
  • MPO / MTP cassettes
  • Fusion splicing
  • Innerduct & fiber runway

Testing

  • Insertion loss (OLTS)
  • OTDR traces
  • End-face inspection
  • Closeout reports

Containment & pathways

Pathways are construction work, which is exactly why we are good at it. Tray, runway and aisle containment installed level, bonded and ready for load.

Pathways

  • Ladder rack & runway
  • Wire basket tray
  • J-hooks & sleeves
  • Firestopping at penetrations

Containment

  • Hot & cold aisle systems
  • Ceiling panels & doors
  • Blanking & brush grommets
  • Grounding & bonding

Rack & stack

Labor at the scale GPU deployments demand. We set cabinets, mount gear, patch power and data, and hand each row over ready for commissioning.

Scope

  • Cabinet set & leveling
  • Server & GPU node install
  • PDU & power whips
  • Patching to elevation

Also

  • Moves, adds & changes
  • Decommission & haul-off
  • Migration support

How a job runs

From walk to turnover

  1. WalkSite walk, drawings review and a scope that names every pathway, panel and link.
  2. PlanLabor plan, material takeoff and a schedule built around your other trades.
  3. InstallPathways, pulls, terminations and rack work, with daily progress reports.
  4. CertifyEvery link tested and labeled, then a turnover package your ops team can use.
The deliverable

Proof on paper

Every copper and fiber link leaves with a test result attached. Reports map to rack, panel and port so the next technician never has to guess.

Questions

Data center questions

What is structured cabling?

Structured cabling is the organized system of copper and fiber cables, patch panels and pathways that connects every device in a building or data center. It is installed to standards such as TIA-568, labeled to TIA-606 and tested so each link can be traced and certified.

What does rack and stack mean in a data center?

Rack and stack is the physical installation of IT equipment: setting cabinets, mounting servers, switches and GPU nodes, connecting power distribution and patching data cables to the rack elevation. The result is a row that is ready for the owner or integrator to commission.

What is hot aisle and cold aisle containment?

Aisle containment separates the cold supply air in front of racks from the hot exhaust air behind them, using doors, roof panels and blanking. Keeping the two air streams apart lets the cooling system run more efficiently and keeps equipment inside its rated temperature range.

How is data center cabling tested?

Copper links are certified with a cable analyzer against their performance category, such as Cat6A. Fiber links get insertion loss (OLTS) testing, OTDR traces where specified and end-face inspection. Every result is saved and delivered in the closeout package, mapped to rack, panel and port.

You are a construction company. Why cabling?

Because the two trades share a schedule. Pathways go in while walls are open, and the crew that knows where every stud sits is the fastest crew to route cable through it. Structured cabling is our newest business line, built on the same crews and standards we use on the construction side.

Can you take on cabling without the construction scope?

Yes. Structured cabling, fiber, containment and rack and stack can each be contracted on their own. The combined scope is simply where we save you the most time.
